Hope Center, Buffalo, NY

The HOPE Center
781 Maple Rd. (near N. Forest)
Amherst, NY 14221

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
the courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom
to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the
pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make
all things right if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy
in this life and supremely happy
with Him forever in the next.

The Mission of the Hope Center is to provide a safe place in the community for recovery meetings and activities that support recovery. We provide space for groups that are 12-Step based. We encourage and support personal spiritual growth based on the spiritual principles embodied in the 12 Steps.

The Hope Center is not a treatment program, nor are there treatment providers located here. The method of operation of the Hope Center itself is grounded upon both the 12 Steps and the 12 Traditions which began with Alcoholics Anonymous and have been adopted by other 12 Step recovery programs.  We are entirely self-supporting. Donations are welcome.
